We're Back!
We're back for round two (previously the .hack//Link US campaign)! Recent comments at Wondercon on 3/19, 2012 by CC2 President Hiroshi Matsuyama has spurred interest in campaigning for the newly announced .hack//Versus fighting game to be localized in English (along w/ .hack//The Movie).
Matsuyama's strong words point to Namco Bandai of America's lack of support for the .hack franchise: "...as long as we can get more requests from the fans, there's a possibility." "It's not that people don't know about it," [...] "But I think it's more than Namco Bandai Games America is not interested in the typical JRPGs and that's why they're not looking to pick it up." (via Joystiq)
If you didn't join the campaign previously, please do so now and help spread the word! The writing is officially on the wall and we have to wake Namco Bandai up! Like our previous campaign, we're taking suggestions about out-of-the-box campaigning ideas (Tweet or Facebook us). For .hack//Link we sent Namco Bandai a big plushie grunty and tons of fanart from fans across the world! We'd like to do something unique again!
